Kelli posted in the BrookVale WhatsApp Group to ask if any members were interested in forming a Residents Association. 8 Members from the Estate expressed an interest.

A Brookvale Committee WhatsApp Group was set up for the 8 residents to take forward the possibility.

Members of the Committee met with Dan Channon to discuss some of the concerns that the Residents had expressed in the WhatsApp Group and to find out more about our options.

Following renewed interest in the WhatsApp group in holding Bellway Accountable and from residents who had received threatening letters from Trinity Homes a meeting was scheduled for 18 November at 7pm

The first Committee Meeting was held at 6 Wren Grove attended by 7 residents of the estate who will shape the official Residents Association.

Voting Officially Opened!
The first votes were cast in favour of a Brookvale Residents Association!

We did it!
Votes were counted and we reached a target of 75 in favour. This represents a 66% majority of the estate saying Yes!
Preparations began to reach out the final cohort and get their buy in too!

The Acting Chairperson has notified Bellway and the Brookvale Management Company by Recorded Delivery of our inception.
Reciept has been confirmed by Bellway's Head of Customer Services. A copy of the letter is available here.
