Brookvale Residents Association

I’m excited to introduce myself as a new member of our residents association. My wife, daughter, and I moved to the development in July 2022, having previously lived in Chichester. Like many residents, we’ve grown increasingly frustrated with the rising costs and lack of accountability demonstrated by Trinity, as well as the poor communication from both Bellway and Trinity about major issues affecting our estate.

With a professional background as a digital project manager for a London-based technology company, a current leader and teacher in a local secondary school, and a former charity trustee, I hope the experience and skills I bring can contribute positively to the running of the association for the benefit of all residents.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed strong abilities in organisation, communication, and strategic planning. As a former project manager, I’m experienced in managing budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. My twelve years as a school leader and teacher in both primary and secondary settings have given me a deep understanding of teamwork, community building, and ensuring diverse voices are represented.

In addition to my teaching and leadership role, I am also a director of an educational company, which requires me to lead projects, solve problems creatively, manage finances, run payroll, and submit annual accounts and filings. As a former trustee for a large educational charity, I gained valuable insight into governance, fundraising, and charity commission compliance, and I’ve witnessed the powerful impact that small organisations can have when people come together with a shared purpose.

I’m looking forward to supporting the running of the association and to working alongside all of you to ensure our estate is maintained to the highest standards. By uniting through the residents association, we have the collective power to advocate for change, hold Trinity accountable, and ensure our voice is heard.
