Hello Brookvale friends & residents,
I moved from Southsea with my partner Nicky to the estate in July 2019 and reside at number 2 Juno Lane, previously we rented a Bellway home, in my spare time I enjoy road cycling, long distance walking and playing Tennis. I have also been involved in many fundraising events raising thousands for meaningful local charities. My peers consider me to be easy going but to the point in bringing people issues to the forefront of every conversation for a resolution and a cost-effective outcome, the last chair position role I held was for Tesco sports & social events for 15years and later followed up with a similar role for Wiggle, Philips & Coty cosmetics and their large-scale site relocations.
Over the past 40yrs professionally on a day-to-day basis, I have been accountable for some very large logistics, warehousing & supply chain operations at a management level, so I’m equipped with managing/chairing meetings with a clear agenda and preferred outcomes defined.
I, along with other interim committee members have a real passion to drive the improvements required around the Brookvale estate whilst aiming for all the residents to get a value for money service with speedy rectification of outstanding concerns that have been flagged by myself & many other residents. To date Trinty have been submitted with a list of unresolved snagging/completion issues which collectively we are determined to ensure these are completed without any type of retrospective cost being added.
Along with Paul Rebbitt (Kelli’s partner) we come with many years of facilities experience at a consumer, supplier, and service provider level, so far to date we have raised many larger scale issues for unfinished snagging jobs with the likes of both Bellway & Trinity which has on occasions included site contractor walks with Dan Channon from Trinity.
The idea with having a resident’s association is to ensure we have a central voice of concern on behalf of all residents living on the Brookvale estate with the aim of looking at alternative cost-effective solutions for routine maintenance & planned service schedules.
