Brookvale Residents Association

Hello, my name is Adrienne and I moved to the Brookvale estate in March 2021 with much excitement at the prospect of living in a nice little community with nice surroundings.

Unfortunately I have been left very disappointed by both Bellway and the current management company Trinity, with their sloppy shoulders and excuses from both; as well as the cost of management fees.

When it was discussed early in 2024 about the possibility of forming a Residents Association (RA) to try to tackle some of the issues we all face, I was keen to show an interest and offer support however I could.  

I would like to take this opportunity to offer admin support to the committee.  I have worked for the NHS in an administrative role since 2003, initially as Admin Team Lead in an inpatient MH unit for over 20 years and now as a Mental Health Act Team Lead.  In my previous role I was responsible for all administration tasks such as, meeting preparation, minute taking and distribution, to name but a few, in order to support management, staff and patients.  In my current role I am responsible for checking MHA paperwork is correct and lawful, as well as making sure patients are aware of their rights, so attention to detail is imperative.  Should a patient wish to appeal I am responsible for making an application to the Tribunal Service, liaising with Responsible Clinicians, Nurses and Solicitors as well as collating reports etc for the Hearing.

I feel I am well organised, can rise to any challenge and am looking forward to supporting the RA committee.
